Location: Situated in the heart of Wellington City.

They run hourly tours of the buildings and show the debating chambers and also show how the building has been make Earthquake safe. They are also open and run tours on Saturday mornings. You may need to book a tour and return later in the day depending on the day.

For those interested in engineering the earth quake proofing of the old part of the parliament is well worth the visit to the basement to see the way the whole buiding is sitting on rubber mixed with lead pads - awsome
