Location: Get coach from Victoria station, london.

7 miles of clean sandy beaches, the best seaside town in the UK without a doubt. Great bars, clubs, nightlife. Plenty of hotels/ B&Bs etc. Watersports in summer. After London it is the 2nd UK city for foreign students learning English. Very clean & friendly town! (Dont bother with Brighton or Southend- very dirty, overpriced, horrible beaches and run down).

What a pillock

Fine Geogian architecture, Prinny's Pavilion, excellent shopping in "The Lanes" Have tea in "the Grand" and see where the Conservative Party leadership was almost wiped out. Visit the racecourse, see saxon settlements nearby, visit historical Arundal Castle and Gothic Cathedral, the cathedral city of Chichester, the Victorian Pier.

Boring place, there are heaps better places then Bournemouth! The beaches are awful and the water is freezing no matter what time of year it is! Spend the money and go abroad, better spent money!
