Dont miss out on Sarajevo, if your in Dubrovnik there are good bus links. It's a great place, still quite a bit of war damage out of town, but the old town is great. And really safe. If you go there a walking tour is worthwhile, Sarajevo has an amazing history, past and present. Mostar is also worth a look, about half way between Dubrovnik, and Sarajevo.
