Location: get a collectivo from the bus stop, the ones on the side of the bus stop are heading in the direction of the ruins and a good place to stay!

in the lonely planet under palenque and places to stay there are a few spots they suggest but we stayed at 2 of them and one definitely outshone the other. when heading out towards to ruins you will pass under a arch get them to drop you off there i dont remeber the name of the place but it was better value for your peso and definitely a better atmosphere! your in the jungle and the people are great!
