Location: Cross the railway 15km north of Kekerengu on Higway 1. follow dirt road about 15km to Blue mountain Station. walking track starts there.

Beautiful limestone gorge. best to go in summer as the 2 hour tramp to the gorge follows the river and involves getting wet. Check the forecast for heavy rain.
There is a six bunk hut about 1 hour further up if you want to do an overnighter.

Hi I live in the valley that the sawcut is situated and I really want to encourage people to come up and visit the sawcut as it is brilliant. I have walked it myself several times and enoy it every time. Enjoy your walking..

I have visited this amazing gorge. Easy walk from the end of the road, mostly in the river when I went. I'm sure if this was closer to the main road it would be a major tourist attraction. Thankfully it is isolated enough to enjoy without masses taking pretty pictures
