Location: You can enter the park from Marahau or Totaranui.

There are regular buses from Nelson or Motueka to Marahau or a carpark if you wish to drive.

There is an easy walking track between Marahau and Totaranui that can be done in four or five days. You can stay in huts provided for $12-15 a night but they can be booked up over summer. The other option is to camp which is done on a first in bases and costs $3-4 a night. You must carry in all your own food but there is one Resturant in Awaroa that offers a welcome beer!
Other options are to hire a Sea Kayak or you can catch the watertaxi if you are feeling tired or lazy.

In summer the south eastern side of the park is a little like Picadilly Circus both for walking and kayaking! If you want a more peaceful experience you need to go to the Golden Bay side of the park.

i have been trying to find Piha in this web page. Piha is located West coast, Northland, New Zealand and it is a wicked place for surferz and just a little fun in the waves. a great place to chill-ax and watch the sun go down on one of the most beutiful cost lines. take my word and pay a visit. also if your get a chance and your more into relaxing... see hot water beach. it's like having your own spa in the middle of the beach. it's great on a rainy day with a cup of coffy. written by AJ aka Amish
