The yearly festival Semana Grande is a must to go. During its most festive week, the capital of Gipuzkoa suggests a varied programme of activities to everybody's liking: music that this year too will play an important role, shows of Basque rural sports, a taurine fair at Illumbe bullring and entertainment offers for the youth. At the same time there will be an international fireworks contest. GREAT!!!! I've been there last year... and it was one of the greatest parties I've ever been too.
