Location: Right in the city centre next to Plaza Catalunya in Pau Claris street

We heard that you can find private accomodation really centrally and pay a fraction of the price of the surrounding hostels. We found out because we went to a hostel which was full but gave us the address and number of an English and Spanish guy that rent rooms next door and who they always recommend. The flat was great and typically Spanish with high ceilings and big rooms. It was really good value as well and the guys very friendly and useful for tourist info and translations. The area is safe and clean, much better than the old town. They gave us an email: [email protected]
